The Catalan federation of Pueri Cantores main aims are:

	SERVICE TO CHURCH
	Participate regularly in the lithurgic jobs of a parish or religious community, to sing the Peace of God on the earth, as Pueri Cantores of all around the world do.

	MUSICAL QUALITY
	Put special attention on the sociological, humanistic and of christian formation aspects of music- lithurgic or popular alike- and specially to the works written by Catalan authors.

	CATALANITY
	Serving the Church of our country, collaborating on the cultural and musical activities that are requested.

	MUSICAL FORMATION
	Promote the musical formation of the singers and the technical knowledge of the directors.

And because we know that it is very difficult to do this path alone, we unite, we federate, to be able to achieve the aims that characterise our movement. The procedures to accomplish the aims will be:

Encourage a nice relationship and a spirit of brotherhood within our groups and the meetings, which strengthen the spirit and the feeling of living together.

Encourage within our groups, the formative activities for each category: courses, weekends working, sessions of human-religious music.

Represent the choirs' groups in front of the civil and religious authorities, being its interlocutor and also in front of the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION and of musical, cultural or religious entities of our homeland.

Look for choirs who would like to join in the movement of Pueri Cantores (child singers).

Offer communicative sources: Pueri-magazine, e-mail links, web site, which serve to broadcast all the questions for each and every choirs.

Broadcast to the federation the activities done by all choirs and inform of the musical, cultural, and religious activities done all over Catalonia that may interest the choirs or any of their members.

Encourage the image of the Pueri Cantores, specially over Catalonia.
